DETAILS: StandGuard Anti-Virus offers native scanning of mail on IBM i. The new add-on Domino feature lets users manage, scan and clean Domino mail and databases residing on IBM servers. StandGuard Anti-Virus Domino features include:

• Mail scanning to protect users from infected e-mail
• On-demand database scanning to detect viruses and malicious code embedded in attachments and objects
• Automatic quarantine for infected attachments so administrators can further investigate origin and integrity
• Real-time alerts to notify IT staff of specific events
• Automatic virus-definition updating
• Capability to schedule automatic updating or scanning for times when activity is low
• Logging of all activity to a central database to maintain an audit trail for investigations and regulatory compliance
• Remote Domino servers can be configured and managed from a central administration server

In addition to the traditional Notes* interface, StandGuard Anti-Virus also provides a browser-based interface for viewing and managing all activities across multiple remote servers. A new Japanese-language interface is also available.
