Ed Gauthier

Ed Gauthier was hired by IBM in 1981 as a Systems Programmer for the VSE operating system. Over the years Ed has been on assignment in IBM Germany laboratory working on VSE installation and service automation techniques, a VM planner in Endicott NY, a briefing manager in IBM demonstration centers in Endicott and Poughkeepsie NY, worked as the US Liaison to the IBM Boeblingen Laboratory, and a S/390 software manger for Latin America. In 1999 Ed went to work in the IBM Poughkeepsie Laboratory, where he holds his present position as Program Manager for Linux on System z. Ed can be reached at gauthier@us.ibm.com.
