DETAILS: TotalView source-code debugging, analysis and memory-error detection tool is now available for the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.3. According to the company, the product gives users the capability to rapidly develop, troubleshoot and deploy applications across all industries.

TotalView supports debugging of codes written in C, C++, Fortran and UPC. It’s designed specifically to debug applications with concurrency. Concurrency occurs when programs make use of techniques like threading (via OpenMP or Pthreads) and cluster parallelism (via MPI or UPC).
