Vision Solutions Enhances EchoStream

Vision Solutions, a provider of high-availability and disaster-recovery solutions has enhanced EchoStream, its AIX real-time disaster-recovery solution. 

According to Vision Solutions, EchoStream 3.5 includes: 

• RightTime CDP for flexible any-point-in-time recovery 
• TimeView, which lets you use the disaster recovery server for R&D, testing, reporting and training or to run backups on replicated data
• AutoGuard for automatic notification and self-correction
• IntelliStart for GUI-driven installation and optimized configuration 

The product protects data through real-time replication, providing rapid data recovery in the event of software corruption, virus attack, deleted files or other data loss.
