BOSaNOVA Releases Next Q3 Enterprise Model

BOSaNOVA, a provider of security solutions, thin clients and network appliances, has released a new model of its Q3 storage security encryption appliance, Q3 Enterprise (Q3e). The new Q3e appliance is now available with user-selectable AES-128 or AES-256 encryption modes and supports up to four tape drives. SCSI and Fibre units are available. The host and tape interface speed has increased on both: 320 Mb per second on SCSI and 4 Gb per second on Fibre channel. Encrypted throughput has also increased to 300 MB per second, according to BOSaNOVA.

Providing security for backup tapes, Q3e is designed to be easy to use and nonintrusive. Installation takes minutes. For high security, each Q3e appliance includes a hardware encryption chip unique to each customer.

For a limited time, BOSaNOVA is offering free professional services on all new Q3e purchases. Professional services include sending a technician to install the solution, ensure proper operation and educate staff on the product.
